JANU TOKYO x JEAN JULLIEN

A Summer of Art & Discovery

From 1 July to 30 September, French artist, Jean Jullien, brings his whimsical PAPER PEOPLE to Janu Tokyo.

Created exclusively for the hotel, ten colourful characters take up residence throughout the property, inviting moments of surprise, sparking curiosity and encouraging connection through shared experiences.

THE GUESTS

The GUESTS marks a new chapter in Jullien’s celebrated PAPER PEOPLE series, which began in Tokyo with his 2021 exhibition at Shibuya PARCO and has since travelled to Nantes, Paris, Seoul and beyond. Within Azabudai Hills, one of Tokyo’s most vibrant and progressive new neighbourhoods, the installation finds a fitting home, transforming the hotel’s social spaces into a playground of discovery.
