We want you to be familiar with how we collect, use and disclose your personal data.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"container\">The privacy notice describes the privacy practices of Aman Group for personal data collected in connection with the pre-arrival check-in process.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading container\">Types of Personal Data:<\/h5>\n\n<p class=\"container\">The following personal data is collected during Janu Tokyo&#8217;s pre-arrival check-in process:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"container\">\n<li>First name, last name, maiden name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Email address<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Phone number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Photos<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data of birth<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Passport number, national ID number, driver&#8217;s license number \u2013 these may be required and subject to local\/regional governmental regulations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Place\/city\/country of birth<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading container\">How Is Personal Data Collected<\/h5>\n\n<p class=\"container\">Your data is collected from you by Aman Group&#8217;s service provider OKKAMI with whom we partner to provide you with the pre-arrival check-in services and by OKKAMI\u2019s qualified partner Stripe who use your photos and ID scan for ID verification.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"container\">These partners share your data collected during the pre-arrival check-in process with the Janu Tokyo team.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"container\">When you have decided to use the pre-arrival check-in service, the hyperlink embedded in the email will take you to OKKAMI\u2019s web app to complete the process.<br \/><br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.okkami.com\/privacy-policy\/\">For OKKAMI&#8217;s Privacy Notice regarding the app, click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"container\">For Stripe\u2019s Privacy Notice regarding the pre-arrival check-in data collection, click here.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading container\">Purpose of Data Processing<\/h5>\n\n<p class=\"container\">The purpose of data processing is to streamline the Janu Tokyo guest registration process.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading container\">Lawful Basis<\/h5>\n\n<p class=\"container\">The lawful basis of pre-arrival check-in data collection is your consent.\u202f<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading container\">Data Retention<\/h5>\n\n<p class=\"container\">Aman Group retain your personal data for as long as needed or permitted in light of the purpose(s) for which it was obtained and consistent with applicable law.\u202f<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"container\">Personal data collected by the pre-arrival check-in providers is retained for up to one year.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading container\">Janu Tokyo&#8217;s Privacy Notice<\/h5>\n\n<p class=\"container\">You can find more information about your rights, international data transfer and how long Aman Group retains your data on Janu Tokyo&#8217;s Privacy Notice.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading container\">Contacting Us<\/h5>\n\n<p class=\"container\">Aman Group S.a.r.l and its affiliates in the Aman Group are responsible (data controllers) for the Personal Data we hold about you. The Aman Group is also an independent controller in relation to our resort owners, who have a limited right to use the personal data we collect. As the hotel you are booked to stay in may not be owned by the Aman Group, we disclose data to owners of Aman Group branded properties for the purposes described in this privacy notice.
