With the announcement of Janu, Aman’s sister hotel brand, in March 2020 Vlad Doronin continues to add value to the world’s most admired hospitality brand. Janu was created to capture the unparalleled service and exceptional design synonymous with Aman, but with a different pace and mood, responding to the growing demand for luxury travellers to seek out vibrant destinations with distinctive energy and spirit.

Janu Tokyo, the fitting first destination for the brand will rise above the Azabudai Hills development this winter, alive with the soulfulness of its setting. Janu’s global tapestry will continue to unfold over the coming years with other pipeline projects including AlUla, Saudi Arabia (2025), Diryah, Saudi Arabia (2026), and beyond with a robust wider pipeline including Turkey, Thailand and South Korea amongst others.
